Armed robbery in MCV parking garage
A robber with a silver and black semi-automatic handgun got away with $30 after approaching the victim in the stairwell of a MCV parking garage.
UPDATE: After review of evidence the VCU PD believes these reports were fabricated.

A robber with a silver and black semi-automatic handgun got away with $30 after approaching the victim in the stairwell of a MCV parking garage.
The suspect who fled the scene is described as a black male in his late 20s. He had a scruffy beard, with a gold tooth, and was dressed in a black puffy jacket, black jeans with a design on the back and Redskins gloves.
The crime took place at 515 N. 13th Street at 6 p.m. and was reported to the VCU Police Department at 6:20 p.m.
VCU PD have increased patrols in the area. An alert sent to the student body and faculty said the the current condition of the area could still pose a threat to community members or visitors.
