If and when Bradford Burgess gets the start Sunday afternoon versus George Mason, he’ll pass basketball demigod Patrick Ewing for the most consecutive starts in Division I history with 143.
We asked Burgess about the distinction this past Thursday at the team’s open practice, and how he felt about potentially doing so.
“It’s a great feeling,” Burgess said. “Just being able to be there for my team and being able to help them in any way I can. I’ve just been able to play with an amazing program, with amazing players, and I’m just grateful for the opportunity.”
