Breaking News: Towson up 52-30 at the half over UNC Wilmington

RICHMOND- The eight-seeded Towson Tigers jumped out of the gate and lead #9 UNC Wilmington 52-30 at the half.
The Tigers, who were the 2009 Cinderella story, jumped out to a 9-2 lead and haven’t trailed in the game.
Sophomore RaShawn Polk leads all scorers with 12 points at the half. Ettrick product Calvin Lee scored 10 and three Tigers (Isaiah Philmore, Josh Thornton and Troy Franklin) scored eight.
Dominique Lacy led the Seahawks with seven while Chad Tomko contributed six.
Towson shot 54 percent (17-31) from the floor and 5-10 from three. The Tigers also forced UNCW into 11 turnovers, with six players posting a steal.
