Men’s soccer coach let go
According to a press release received Tuesday, VCU men’s soccer coach Tim O’Sullivan’s contract has not been renewed for the 2010 season.
O’Sullivan spent 15 season on the VCU sideline piecing together a record of 148-118-35.
The best years of the O’Sullivan tenure came between 2002-2004 when he led VCU to three consecutive CAA regular season titles.

In 2004 the Rams went all the way to the Elite Eight in the NCAA tournament making an unforgettable run for VCU fans.
The Rams went to the NCAA tournament six times under O’Sullivan.
O’Sullivan spent 12 seasons at the University of Richmond before coming to VCU, and in 25 seasons as a coach at the Division one level, he has compiled a record of 263-226-60.
The search for a new coach has begun for the athletics department, there is no word on whom, if anyone, is a front runner for the position right now.
