The 2009 Richmond Folk Festival’

Thousands came out to the second-annual Richmond Folk Festival this past weekend. The festival, which ran Friday through Sunday, attracted thousands and brought together musicians from many different genres including Irish, Western, Puerto Rican, gospel, zydeco, go-go and blues.

Clothesline project raises student awareness

Victims and survivors, along with their friends and family, made T-shirts to express emotions at the Clothesline Project, a national event to raise awareness for sexual and domestic violence, took place Wednesday in the University Student Commons Plaza.
