The “Dance on Camera” screening at the Grace Street Theater on Oct. 13 not only opened audience’s eyes to dance but to culture. The screening featured four short films from the New York Dance Films Association from around the world.
The international films at the “Dance on Camera” proved art has the power to merge two mediums into a fluid display of talent and grace. In her opening remarks, dance professor Martha Curtis said the films were a hybrid art form and highlighted collaboration between film and dance.
