‘Halo 3: ODST’ exciting, action-packed

Calling all nerds: Nathan Fillion, the actor of such Joss Whedon fanboy favorites as “Firefly” and “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog,” has his own video game.

True, this franchise might be bigger than any one name, but the sheer delight of seeing Fillion lend both his vocal talents and facial likeness to the first-person shooter almost outweighs the excitement of revisiting the “Halo” universe.
