Q: Why soccer?

A: “It’s a family thing. My dad plays soccer. My cousins play soccer and since I was five years old I have played soccer. It is a big passion for me.”

Q: What sport would you be playing if you weren’t playing soccer?

A: “Tennis. My mom played tennis so I like it.”

Q: Who has influenced you most in your life?

A: “My parents really are the two people that really always kept me going.”

Q: If you were your coach, what would you say that you bring to the table?

A: “I would be hard on myself-I guess just physical presence on the field, leadership and that hard working girl who will never stop.”

Q: Best moment?

A: “When I played in the World Cup, every second we played on the field was my best moment.”

Q: Worst moment?

A: “When we went to the CAA championship game sophomore year (2007) and lost 1-0.”

Q: Who is your favorite athlete?

A: “I really like (Zinedine) Zidane (French National team; Real Madrid). I like his personality and how hard he works.”

Q: How would your teammates describe you?

A: “They would describe me as really physical. I think they might be scared of me. ‘She will hit you if she has to.’ ”

Q: What are you going to do after college?

A: “I would like to play professional soccer, but for a job, I don’t know.”
