WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The Rams came into Sunday as one of the hottest teams in the CAA. However, their run of five wins in a row came to
an end with a 73-60 loss at UNC Wilmington.
Junior D’Andra Moss (Atlanta/Norcross) had a career-high afternoon with 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting.

Junior D’Andra Moss (Atlanta/Norcross) had a career-high afternoon with 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting.
The Rams also got strong performances from Radoslava Bachvarova (Varna, Bulgaria/ Daytona Beach C.C.) who scored 16, and freshman Jennifer Lane (Wichita, Kan./ Wichita Heights) who scored 10.
VCU will try to get back into the win column Sunday at the Siegel Center, when the Rams play rival Old Dominion. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
MEN’S TENNIS
The 32nd ranked Rams returned to action Tuesday as they crushed Princeton 7-0.
In the course of the day, the Rams only lost one set.
Now 6-1, the Rams look to continue their winning ways this weekend at the ITA national Indoor Championships in Chapel Hill, N.C.
WOMEN’S TENNIS
The Rams suffered a loss at No. 11 Clemson on Sunday, 4-3.
Despite the loss, the Rams earned wins from Kateryna Yergina (Kiev, Ukraine), Laura Burns (Hertford, England), and Mihaela Bunea (Bucharest, Romania).
The team is now 4-1 and also head to the ITA tournament Jan 30-Feb. 1 in Durham, N.C.
MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
The Rams competed in Hampton Invitational this past weekend.
Junior Stephen Mutisya (Machakos, Kenya) returned from injury to finish third in the one-mile run, posting a time of 4:22.20.
The team had an overall strong performance and heads to the East Tennessee State Invitational in Johnson City, Tenn. on Jan. 30-31.
