Earlier this week, a deal between Michael Vick and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals fell through. The deal called for Vick to do a public service announcement warning people against dog fighting. The deal fell through when Vick and his representatives asked PETA to not stand in his way if he got a chance to return to the NFL.

Maynor’s historic day leads Rams to victory
The VCU Rams took to the Alltel Pavilion court Saturday with a couple of goals in mind. They wanted to win their season-high seventh game in a row and also remain tied atop the CAA standings.
The Rams had won three of the last four over rival George Mason, which was without its leading scorer, John Vaughan, coming into the game.
‘Wrestler’ puts audience in firm grip
“My only faith’s in the broken bones and bruises I display.” This describes Randy “The Ram” Robinson (Mickey Rourke), the main character in “The Wrestler.” The line shows up in Bruce Springsteen’s song of the same name, written and performed by the legendary artist at the request of Rourke himself.
