WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The Rams defeated James Madison 81-48 this past Sunday. Senior Quanitra Hollingsworth (Chesapeake/Great Bridge) posted another double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Junior D’Andra Moss (Atlanta/Norcross) added 20 points and six rebounds.

Junior D’Andra Moss (Atlanta/Norcross) added 20 points and six rebounds. The win improved the Rams’ record to 2-1 in the CAA and 12-3 overall. The Rams next host William and Mary on Thursday night.
MEN’S TRACK AND FIELD
The team finished in third place at the Navy Invitational this past weekend. Sophomore Antonio Norvell (Portsmouth/I.C.Norcom) and junior DeAngelo Wilson (Richmond/Prince Edward County) finished in first and second place, respectively, in the 60-meter dash. Norvell finished with a time of 6.98 seconds while Wilson finished with a 6.99. Wilson would later win the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.12. Junior Jamal Blyden (Virginia Beach/Landstown) finished second in the 200 meters with a time of 22.50. Wallace would also win the long jump with a jump of 22-11 feet and finish third in the triple jump with a jump of 46-0 3/4 feet. Junior Piotr Dybas (Jaslo, Poland) captured a second place finish in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:33.05. Freshman Brice Matthews (Dumfries) finished third in the 400 meters with a time of 49.99. The team returns to action this Saturday at the Terrapin Invitational.

Senior Tim Rusterholz (Lewisville, N.C./Forsyth Country Day) was one of 20 student-athletes to have their artwork chosen to be displayed at the NCAA Convention in Washington, D.C., this week. Rusterholz, a sculpture major, also will be one of 13 student-athletes to have his work displayed in the in the NCAA’s Champion Magazine, which is due out this week.
PICK ‘EM
Congratulations to Alex Dynan, the co-host of “The Aftermath” on WVCW. He won the pick’em with a record of 146-102. Dynan went 12-8 in the final week to win the title by one game over CT Sports Editor Jerome Foster.
