Every year, college football coaches around the country must deal with rumors about their job security because of their team’s performance. While it might be early in the season, the rumor mill never stops. Here is a list of coaches that could be feeling the heat come bowl season and the reasons why.

The Rams took home their first victory of the season at the Greensboro Invitational, winning for the fourth consecutive year. Senior Jay Wyss (Richmond/J.R. Tucker) won the individual title with a time of 26:15. Wyss finished 15 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.

When I was thinking of things to write about Sunday, I decided to put down the topic of “sock drawers,” because it
is completely newsworthy. Having actually decided to forge ahead and write about this topic I realized I do not have very much to say on the subject, except that I would have a bigger sock drawer if the dryer did not eat all of my socks.

Two students injured in attempted robbery

Two students were shot during an attempted robbery of four students on the 300 block of Goshen Street Friday. The injured students were taken to VCU Medical Center, one with minor injuries and one in critical condition.
