The online social networking site Facebook.com is in the process of changing designs. For the past few weeks, there has been an option on the Web site to switch to the new Facebook in order to ease users into the change. This past week, however, the switch is becoming mandatory. The CT asked VCU students what they thought about the change.
“I think it’s actually a lot easier, but a lot of people hate it. I don’t know why. At first, I wasn’t going to switch to . the new one, but I changed my mind and switched it and it’s actually great.”

“I can’t really tell the difference because I don’t use it that much. A lot of (my friends) say they want the old one back.”

“I like it, but it takes time to get used to. It’s nice. It’s more clean. It looks more new.”

“I don’t really mind it that much. My friends are all in those ‘bring back the old Facebook’ groups on there and getting all up in arms about it, but . it doesn’t matter to me.”

“I think it’s ugly and stupid. I don’t really get on Facebook much anyway, but now I’m confused . No one really likes it anymore. They’re either apathetic or don’t like it as much.”
