VCU police are asking for help finding a male
suspect accused of dragging a female VCU police of-
ficer behind his car following a Feb. 1 traffic stop.
The suspect is 18-year-old Zorin “Zoe” Amadd
Holton. If arrested, Holton will be charged with
attempted capital murder.
Holton was stopped by the officer after turning
into one-way oncoming traffic on West Cary Street
from Harrison Street near the VCU Cary Street
parking deck and athletic fields.
Authorities said Holton grabbed the officer’s
arm and pulled her partially into the vehicle
before driving away.
Holton drove three blocks with the officer
hanging out of the vehicle before slowing down,
which allowed the officer, who only sustained
minor injuries, to get away.
According to court documents, Holton is supposed
to appear in Richmond court for weapons
and trespassing charges Monday. He also has been
found guilty of multiple charges in Chesterfield
County.
