Wearable 10, A 1708 Annual
Fundraising Event,” popped
off this Saturday, showcasing
some of the most bizarre
and fresh creations of the art
scene.
Students and professionals
submitted costumes that were
adjudicated and awarded based
on their colorfulness, originality,
style and keeping with the
theme, “X.”
Using unconventional materials
such as chicken wire,
duct tape, disposable plates,
light bulbs, laminated sheets
of music and piano keys, the
models displayed the latest in
cutting-edge fashion.
Costumes included a pregnant
queen bee, a lawn, a peacock,
a construction worker
and a used tampon.
