Freshmen invade VCU
More than 31,000 students are enrolled at VCU this year, marking this fall’s student body the largest in VCU’s history and the largest in Virginia. Among those students, 3,850 are freshmen, and 78 percent of them live on campus. The School of the Arts, the College of Humanities and Sciences and the School of Engineering reportedly garner the most freshman interest.

More first-time freshmen are from Fairfax County than any other county or city in Virginia. About 88 percent of the freshman class is comprised of Virginia residents.
Total enrollment increased by about 1,000 students from last year.
