The CTube

Everyone occasionally buys things they don’t need, and what better place to do so than the Internet?

Case in point: eBay. It has a constantly updated catalogue of anything you can think of, from clothes and shoes to tools and even cars. It’s funny what you can find on eBay if you look at the right time.

The Internet also has made it very easy to make fun of others.

Weird Al Yankovic plays around with technology and creates hilarious songs like this one about eBay.

He came up with little things that supposedly are on eBay that some people might actually buy. Starting with a used pink bathrobe, Alf alarm clock, and Pac-Man lunch box, Yankovic even goes for “Kleenex used by Dr. Dre.”

Yankovic’s words are perfectly combined with the music from the 1990s Backstreet Boys’ hit,”Tell Me Why” over images of eBay items picked by the video’s creator, StupidVideos.com.

The song is used as a creative way to illustrate some of the unique objects that are out there. It is a well-thought and creatively expressed video that will surely make you laugh.

Looking for an entertaining video on YouTube can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. With users uploading at least 65,000 new videos a day, it’s hard to know what to look for and where to find it. That’s why the CT has created the CTube. Issue to issue, we’ll weed through all the good, bad and ugly that YouTube has to offer to find what we think, at the least, will hold your attention. No need to spend more time than necessary on YouTube when Facebook already consumes half of your day, right?
