In the second game of the tournament the Rams fell 8-2 to third-ranked Georgia Tech Saturday, in a rain-shortened six-inning game.
Sergio Miranda matched his season total with three hits, and the Rams out-hit the Yellow Jackets but stranded 10 base runners.
The Yellow Jackets used a four-run fifth inning to earn the win.
The Rams’ final game of the tournament against sixth-ranked Tennessee was canceled due to inclement weather.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday against Radford, the beginning of a nine-game homestand at The Diamond.
