Todd Drootin, the mastermind behind Books on Tape, is back with his latest release, “Dinosaur Dinosaur.” The music is a very heavy electronic style that he has dubbed “beatpunk.” It’s tough really reviewing an entire album of electronic beats, but Drootin does such a great job at what he does. The album is just about all instrumental, except for a couple of tracks with some singing in the background. Some of the electronic work that Drootin does is amazing, the sounds and changes of vibe, energy and beat are really just crazy to listen to.
