Police pull man from toilet waste tank
A U.S. man was arrested after a teenage girl saw him staring up at her from a cesspit below a toilet seat.
Police pulled the 45-year-old from the waste tank under a public toilet at a beauty spot in Albany, New Hampshire.
Jon Hebert, captain of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, said firefighters hosed the man down before police handcuffed him.
“We had to decontaminate him. We treated him as if he were hazardous material,” he said.
“I started this business in 1980, and I have never in my career encountered anybody in this type of situation.”
The man, who is from Gardiner, Maine, was arrested in the White Mountain National Forest after the 14-year-old girl’s parents called the police.
Police said the door to the waste tank was locked so he must have gone in through the toilet. He was wearing waders.
Police charged the man with criminal trespass and said he could face more charges.
Coldplay album inspired by porn
Chris Martin says the inspiration behind Coldplay’s hit album, “X&Y,” is pornography.
According to The Sun, a newspaper in Britain, he said: “I’d been drained of ideas but then I started getting inspiration and it was mainly from porn.
“Maybe now you’ll understand Hardest Part or even ‘Til Kingdom Come quite differently.”
Park rangers combat outdoor sex
Park rangers in Holland are using stinging nettles and thistles to stop couples from having sex in the open.
Jos Evers, head ranger of Het Twiske park near Amsterdam, said about 75 to 100 people regularly use the park for sex.
His rangers have cut back bushes to create space for nettles and thistles to grow, De Telegraaf said.
He said, “When the weather is fine, we find 10 to 15 couples. They are very difficult to catch because they warn each other with mobile phones when they hear us approaching.”
Other tactics include stepping up police patrols and converting one of the most popular areas into a paintball venue.
It’s a jungle on
the bus
Police officers in Mexico are investigating after finding 132 wild animals, birds and reptiles inside a bus.
Federal officers said they made the bizarre find after they heard “jungle noises” coming from the vehicle after it pulled up at a bus stop.
They opened the baggage compartment and discovered one eagle, two toucans, 41 mocking birds, 3 iguanas, 14 parrots, 15 snakes, 55 turtles and one tarantula.
A police spokesperson said: “It was so strange we started to hear all those jungle noises at a bus stop, and we thought we were going mad.”
So far, nobody has been arrested because none of passengers admitted to owning the creatures.
Tarzan swings, Tarzan falls…
A Romanian man ended up in a hospital after he tried to swing from tree to tree to escape his wife and go drinking.
Stefan Trisca, 66, had been locked in the bedroom by his wife who was fed up with him going drinking with his friends.
His Tarzan-style escape plan backfired when he slipped from a vine and fell 15 feet to the ground, breaking his arm, an ankle and a leg.
Mr. Trisca, of Bacau, said, “I didn’t think it would be such a big deal to go from tree to tree and get down to the ground.
“Unfortunately it was more difficult than it looked in the Tarzan movies. And I suppose I forgot to take into account that Tarzan was a lot younger.”
