Woman got pregnant after rollercoaster ride
A woman who thought she could not have children is now a mother – thanks to a white-knuckle rollercoaster ride.
Nayade Elbing, 28, and her husband Arnold had been trying to have children for several years without success and believed she was sterile.
But, after making love in their home, the young couple visited their local entertainment park at Hassloch in Germany where Nayade went on the Expedition GeForce, one of the world’s fastest rollercoasters.
One week later her gynecologist, Dr. Thomas Gent, told her she was pregnant.
He said, “We believe that she conceived due to the G force of the rollercoaster ride.”
In the meantime, Cuban-born Nayade has given birth to a little boy now called Leandro Elias. The entertainment park gave little Leandro, nicknamed G Force by his dad, a lifelong free ticket for rollercoaster rides.
Man can hold on to pal’s corpse
A Chinese man has been told he can carry on storing his pal’s dead body in a freezer.
Police officers found the corpse during a routine health and safety check at Xiao Li Bei’s warehouse in the Russian town of Novosibirsk.
He told police that his friend had died of natural causes two years ago.
Li Bei said: “I just thought it would be easier to store the body myself. There’s so much bureaucracy here I knew the paperwork would be endless otherwise.
“And I have a large industrial freezer in my warehouse.”
Prosecutors have said unless new evidence turns up, the man will be able to continue storing his friend’s body in the freezer as it is not actually illegal in Russia.
Car crashes into Car Crash
A newly opened restaurant called Car Crash has had to close down after a car crashed into the building.
The car lost control in wet weather and smashed into the entrance of the restaurant in Santiago, Chile.
Owner Nancy Araya says she named the restaurant Car Crash because the area was an accident black spot.
She told Las Ultimas Noticias: “It is unbelievable. It is black humor that a car crashes into Car Crash. The restaurant is now a joke.”
Nobody was hurt in the accident. The restaurant is expected to reopen within a week.
