The VCU Police Department is now asking for help locating first-year student Taylor Marie Behl, who was reported missing last Thursday.

VCU Police said that Behl, a 17-year-old from Vienna in Fairfax County, was last seen leaving Gladding Residence Center around 10 p.m. Monday. Her roommates said Behl left her room at Gladding to go skateboarding with three young men.

Since VCU Police first pronounced her missing, the FBI has joined the search. Behl, who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, has brown hair, and weighs 135 pounds, was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Behl’s mother, Janet Pelasara, has reportedly been trying to help university officials by providing information while tracking the search’s progress.

Fliers bearing Behl’s picture have been passed out and posted across campus.

Two Web sites have also sparked conversation among students. The first is www.myspace.com/doowop, Behl’s personal Web site with photos and details. The missing student has a similar profile on www.facebook.com.

Police urge anyone with information to contact them at (804) 828-1196.
