Train didn’t wake drunk Russian

A Russian who fell asleep between train tracks had drunk so much vodka he failed to wake up when a 150-ton cargo train passed over him.

Vladimir Rasimov, 23, passed out and fell between the tracks as he took a short cut home after boozing with pals in a pub in Dmitrievka in the south-east of the country.

Chicken thief on Interpol list

A Romanian man who stole seven chickens from a neighbor was surprised to find he was on Interpol’s most wanted list.

The 51-year-old chicken thief, from Lasi in eastern Romania, had left the country four years ago.

When he returned to visit family he was told by border guards he had been identified from an Interpol list of dangerous fugitives – for stealing chickens from his neighbor’s farm before he left.

The international chicken thief has been sentenced to three and a half years in jail.

Man attacked out-of-tune karaoke singers

A British man leapt onto the stage at a karaoke bar in Bulgaria and attacked two singers because they were out of tune.

Kevin Tester, 40, from Eastbourne, was arrested after he assaulted the Bulgarians during a rendition of Queen’s “We are the Champions.”

He kicked and punched the pair, then attacked other guests and started smashing up the bar at the Techhouse karaoke restaurant in the Black Sea holiday resort of Sunny Beach, near Burgas.

When interviewed by police the next day, Tester claimed the “bad singing” and “bad English” had provoked him.

Germans break shower record

Seven Germans have broken the world shower record after standing under running water for more than four days.

The five men and two women, aged between 17 and 25, from Hoevelhof, showered for over 101 hours to break the 100 hour record set in 2000 by a group of Berliners.

The rules of the record attempt allowed the group just a 10-minute break every hour and a number of the swimwear-clad participants slept standing up under the shower.

Ten people began the wet feat Wednesday, with three dropping out Saturday.

A 17-year-old boy who managed to stay under the shower for the longest won $2,500.

Man pulls car with ears while standing on eggs

A Chinese man pulled a car with his ears while walking on eggs without breaking them.

Zhang Xingquan, 38, pulled the car for about 65 feet in Dehui, Jinli province. His performance drew a big crowd of astonished onlookers. Zhang said he began to learn the stunt when he was just eight years old. He can also pick up a 55 lb. bicycle with his mouth while standing on eggs.
