Senior Sandra Anger (France) scored the lone goal of the game for the Rams.
In the second game of the tournament, the Rams earned a 0-0 tie against Clemson. VCU’s offense put the pressure on the Tigers, but could not manage a score.

Rams Run To Second, Third Place
The VCU men’s cross country team fell one point short of first place, and the women’s team captured third at the Spider Alumni Open Sept. 3, hosted by the University of Richmond.
