Existing Student Government Association officers and their competing candidates are crossing their fingers in hopes of winning their elections Tuesday. This is Zmarak Khan’s, the Student Government Association president, last term as president, and two candidates, Sheena Davis and Eddie O’Leary, the current SGA vice president, are vying to succeed him.

In regards to the “Continuing Education Aids Students” article printed in the Feb. 21, 2005 issue of The Commonwealth Times, Franklin Wallace said his life in college was misrepresented. Where the article states “consisting of sleeping until noon, painting for a few hours and hanging out – all while hoping to graduate” Wallace said while studying Painting and Printmaking at VCU he hoped to sleep, paint and hang out after he graduated and secured a job.

Baby talk

A two-month-old Chinese baby doesn’t cry when he wants his mother’s attention, he calls for her. When the baby is hungry he says “Mama, Mama.” The baby’s mother also said the baby can say the word “nai” which is Chinese for milk. Doctors at Beijing Children’s Hospital said it is very rare for a child to speak at such an early age.
