Fake cop tries to catch women
An Austrian man was arrested for pretending to be a policeman in order to pick up women. The fake police officer would pull over female drivers for speeding and after letting them off with a warning, hoping they would fall for him. The man purchased a fake police uniform and made his own flashing light and badge. The man was caught when one driver asked for his badge number and informed police of what he was doing. The real officers then set up a trap for him using a female officer as bait. The prosecutor’s office has now asked for victims of this man’s crime to come forward with any information they have.
Builder faints after finding snake
A Serbian man had to be taken to the hospital after he fainted when he opened his toolbox. In it, he found a 15-foot python curled up. The giant snake was the pet of the owner of the house whom the Serbian man was working for. The snake’s owner said he always thought builders were tough people, but this man just fainted immediately. The builder was taken to the hospital after he smacked his head on the floor and was treated for a concussion.
The naked truth?
In Brisbane, Australia, a naturist minister is celebrating religion in the nude. The church minister has called upon like-minded Christian people to join him in his celebrations. Fifty-one-year-old Pastor Robert Wright holds these meetings at a nudist resort and has been a naturist for more than16 years. He said he is not looking to turn Christians into nudists, rather he is simply looking for Christians who are already nudists and would like to join him. The man is also planning to hold a naked music festival in a nearby town where he will also lead services. Even security guards will be naked at this event. Afraid others will not understand his practices, Wright stressed that they are not into strange sexual practices of any kind, and he said they are all very well-adjusted Christian people.
He has her kidney
John Jewell needed a kidney, and his wife Carol was a matching donor. The only problem is, after he received the donated kidney from his wife, he dumped her for her brother’s wife. The two had been married for 33 years before he left her. Doctors had been unable to find a donor for the man, and only tested his wife Carol as a last resort. Carol did not hesitate to help her then husband once she found out she was a match. Since he has left her, she now said she is more upset than anything, but she is trying to look to the future instead of at the past.
Strange looking dogs
A Ukrainian woman was arrested after trying to smuggle two bears onto a flight. The woman claimed the bears were dogs, and she was stopped by airport officials when they heard noises coming from a box that she was trying to carry onto the plane. Once officials saw the animals, the woman immediately claimed they were Alsatian puppies that she wanted to take on holiday with her. The bears were confiscated and taken by airport workers to an animal sanctuary where they can remain until a better home can be found for them. The woman now faces charges of illegal trading in bears.
Man catches fire on operating table
A hospital patient in the Czech Republic had his backside burned when a cloth soaked with disinfectant caught fire during an operation. Hospital workers had to jump back from the operating table as the man caught fire. He was undergoing a surgery to remove skin growths when the fire occurred, and he received burns to five percent of his body. Police are now investigating the incident and may bring charges against the hospital. The cloth probably caught on fire from a machine that was used in the procedure. Hospital staff members insist that human error was not to blame.
Divorce can be a good thing
A Romanian mayor is being forced to divorce his wife so they can continue working together. The man’s wife works as an accountant in his office and according to the law, since they are married, one of them should resign. The couple has instead decided to divorce because they have two children to take care of and the woman might not be able to find another job. Although they will be divorced, the two said this will not change anything in their relationship.
