Recreational sports steps outside the box
If the director of recreational sports has her way, VCU students can find plenty to do on weekdays, weekends and even on Halloween.
“What we wanted to do this year is offer a few things that weren’t just physically sports oriented,” said Susan Boling, director of recreational sports.

For instance, the Halloween Black Jack Walk and Costume Contest, offers students a 1.5-mile walk around the Monroe Park Campus.
“It’s more (of) just a fun way to celebrate Halloween and to get out with a little physical activity,” Boling said.
