Trance ambiance: Incubus’ sound, lights tantalize

As the lights dimmed, the high-pitched screams amplified throughout the Richmond Coliseum for Incubus last Tuesday. People on the floor, packed in tightly along the borders of the metal barricade, clapped and chanted “IN-CU-BUS! IN-CU-BUS!” before the band took the stage.

The evening wasn’t just focused on Brandon Boyd, the lead singer. There were many points in the evening where the band showcased their varying range of talents on different instruments.
