VCU’s new computer store, RamTech, was bustling with activity as students and customers flocked to 930 West Grace St. for the grand opening on Monday, April 7.
Graduate student wins national Wal-Mart competition
Olugbenga “Tumi” Oredein won the grand prize for the nationwide Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. “Get on the Shelf” competition on Nov. 4. Oredein is a graduate student studying product innovation in VCU’s Da Vinci Center, and his product will be sold online at Walmart.com.
Electronic device theft up on campus
Overall theft at VCU has decreased over the past academic year. However, the VCU Police Department has noticed a spike in one specific area of theft; electronic devices.
