Armed robbery in Carver prompts text alert
VCU police reported an armed robbery off campus early this morning on the 400 block of N. Hancock Street. A single victim was robbed by two males at approximately 3:09 a.m., according to police.
Police locate suspects in overnight robberies
Police have “located” suspects in connection to two armed robberies that took place near campus overnight, according to an alert sent to students around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Five arrests made following four armed robberies
The Richmond Police Department in conjunction with VCU Police arrested five people in connection with four recent robberies near the university, including Monday morning’s robbery in a private apartment building inside the core campus area.
