College students from across Virginia met at the General Assembly this past week to lobby legislators about progressive issues, such as Medicaid expansion, women’s reproductive rights and education for undocumented students.
The Virginia Senate Transportation committee recently approved a bill increasing the distance at which cars must pass bicycles, from two to three feet.
When I came to VCU in August 2010, I entered as a freshman into the School of Mass Communications. Since I’ve been here, it has always been called just that: the VCU School of Mass Communications.
Students will no longer be able to ride Greater Richmond Transit Company buses free of charge — and some aren’t happy about it.
