VCU’s senior photography class is doing more than just submitting photographs for their senior showcase — the 31 students have collaborated to do everything from raising thousands of dollars, to painting and spackling the venue to make their show a reality.
VCU, the Fan community and the city of Richmond are working together to provide dumpsters for students to throw their trash in, rather than leave it on the sidewalk as students beginning moving out for the year.
Walking on stage Saturday night, Los Angeles recording artist Mayer Hawthorne looked out to a relatively small crowd of students at the Siegel Center for the Back to School Jam concert.
