VCU had a couple of wins over instate rivals that pushed the team to 19-14 on the season and 5-3 in Atlantic 10 conference play.

Baseball returns to Myrtle Beach due to severe weather conditions
With severe weather conditions continuously keeping VCU baseball from playing at home, the team traveled back to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to play a three-game series against the University of Pittsburgh Feb. 27-March 1.
