Watching the gubernatorial election results trickle in last Tuesday night reminded me of that fact. Neither the governor’s race, nor the lieutenant governor’s race should have been this close, even with such uninspiring candidates. The fact that it was, however, says more about our electorate than it does about the candidates.
On Tuesday, November 5, students made their way to the polls to exercise their right to vote in the Virginia gubernatorial election.
In Virginia, we have two major choices for governor: the corrupt religious zealot Republican Ken Cuccinelli or the spineless swindler Democrat Terry McAuliffe.
The fight for the next governor of Virginia comes to an end on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
For this gubernatorial election, I would very much like to not vote.
