A demonstration outside the Dominion Power headquarters in downtown Richmond highlighted the one-year anniversary of Dominion’s proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline on Aug. 18.
A trio of environmental activists opposed to the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline in western Virginia confronted Gov. Terry McAuliffe during his appearance Wednesday at a public forum on climate change.
I will not support the risk that the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline brings. The pipeline is far more detrimental than supporters think. It will carry natural gas to Virginia and a better environment and economy should come along with it. However, the natural gas pipeline will also bring new hazards to be wary of in our state.
