Donning her blue and yellow and then red and pink Adidas sweat suits with matching sneakers and fuzzy hats, she looks much better and oozes more sex appeal than any video girl wearing pasties and a thong.

Women speak up on ‘down there’

“The Vagina Monologues” is a play with so much buzz behind it that it couldn’t possibly be as good as it sounds, but it is. This past weekend, The Firehouse Theater featured the third annual production of “The Vagina Monologues,” in which all of the proceeds would benefit the Richmond YWCA’s Women Advocacy Program. It showed exactly why the play has been so acclaimed.

What does homecoming mean to you?

With this week being set aside for VCU’s homecoming, I am led to voice my outlook of its importance to our student body. First, I must go back to high school when homecoming was about having fun and showing pride for your school. There was a pep rally, a dance, a parade, a king and queen and things of that nature. Everyone looked forward to each event and wanted to participate.
