See Chance the Rapper, Magic! on Feb. 26

Homecoming tickets are available for purchase. Headlining is Chance the Rapper and Magic! at the February homecoming concert.

Floor seat tickets are being sold Jan. 20-25 in the Breakpoint room in the Commons. The cost is $20 for VCU Students and $25 for guests. They will not accept cash as a form of payment, only debit or credit cards. VCU students are only allowed to purchase one ticket for themselves and one guest ticket, which must be purchased with a student ticket.

General admission seating tickets will be available at a later date. The information will first be released on the VCU Homecoming twitter account: @HomecomingVCU.

The concert will take place Feb. 26th during Homecoming week, which is from Feb. 22-28, in the Siegel Center. The artists for the concerts were announced last week at a reveal party. The party also featured a disc jockey battle, with the winner getting to perform at an event during homecoming week

Chance the Rapper, born Chancellor Bennett, is a 21-year-old Chicago native up-and-coming rapper. His mixtape “Acid Rap” was named the 26th best album of 2013 from Rolling Stone.

Magic! rose to fame through the popularity of their hit single “Rude” that reached the top of the charts after it was released in October 2013. The Toronto based group consists of four band members in Nasri, Mark Pellizzer, Alex Tanas and Ben Spivak.
