Jeff Capel and Jerry Wainwright split their first two meetings as head coaches in capital city. Richmond won last year game at the Robins Center 70-52. Capel won their first meeting ever 73-68.

And while they bring completely different teams into the game, the Spiders loss at Wake Forest over the weekend at least gives them something in common.

The Rams look to bounce back from their loss at home to Richmond, hosting the Colonials in the second of a three-game homestand.. Both teams come into the game are 2-2, but it’s hard to blame GW for that 71-41 loss at Tennessee.
